Location: Starkville, MS Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a stable, high-impact role? We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join a production team in Starkville. This position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to keep our production lines moving efficiently.
Support Production: Interpret Bills of Materials (BOM) and stock numbers to ensure machine operators have the exact materials they need, right when they need them.
Master Material Movement: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Maintain Quality & Accuracy: Weigh, track, and record scrap generated on the production line to ensure accurate inventory control.
Equipment Care: Perform daily preventive maintenance (PM) checks on your forklift to ensure safety and performance.
Keep the Floor Moving: Assist with general material handling duties, including the upkeep and clearing of trash containers to maintain a safe, productive workspace.
Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience operating a forklift within a production or manufacturing setting.
Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret complex production orders and maintain accurate records.
Reliability: A strong commitment to your shift and team safety.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Competitive Pay: Starting at $19.77/hr .
Night Shift Premium: Earn an additional $1.00/hr premium for your night shift work.
Stable Schedule: Consistent 7 PM – 7 AM shift.
