As a Security Officer Patrol Surveillance in VIRGINIA BEACH VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and this role you will contribute to security-related operations with a caring reliable approach working as part of a team that values integrity innovation and people first.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity unsecured areas and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity help to enforce site rules and restricted area protocols and report suspicious behavior maintenance concerns and/or policy violations.
• Document daily activities incidents and observations in required reports and communicate clearly with supervisors employees and/or local responders regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
